Yuhuan CNC Wins Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award

Yuhuan CNC has been awarded the Second Prize of the Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award for its project “Key Technologies and CNC Machine Tools for Efficient Precision Grinding and Polishing of Complex-Surface Thin-Walled Components.”

This award highlights Yuhuan CNC’s innovation strength and technical achievements in high-end precision grinding and polishing equipment.

Complex-surface thin-walled components are widely used in 3C electronics, aerospace, precision instruments, and other advanced manufacturing industries. Due to their complex structures and low rigidity, the precision machining of these components has long depended on imported high-end grinding and polishing equipment.

Since 2014, Yuhuan CNC has conducted nearly a decade of R&D and successfully developed a series of five-axis CNC grinding and polishing machines, overcoming key challenges in precision machining. The project has reached an internationally advanced level, with core technologies including multi-workpiece integrated grinding and polishing technology and constant-material-removal polishing technology reaching international leading standards.

The project has obtained 15 invention patents, 22 utility model patents, and 4 software copyrights. The developed equipment has been widely applied by leading enterprises and exported overseas, accelerating the localization of high-end precision grinding and polishing equipment.

Yuhuan CNC will continue to focus on technological innovation and provide global customers with advanced CNC grinding, lapping, and polishing solutions for precision manufacturing.

MAKTEK Eurasia is held every two years and is described by its organiser as the leading fair of Eurasia.
