Hunan Machine Tool Industry Association Leaders Visit Bosch (Changsha) Company to Learn Advanced Experience in Intelligent Manufacturing

In order to deeply study and understand the "Made in China 2025", promote the intelligent manufacturing process of Hunan machine tool industry, and promote industrial transformation and upgrading, on August 23, President Xu Shixiong of Hunan Machine Tool Industry Association led relevant enterprise leaders and technical backbones of the association to Bosch Auto Parts (Changsha) Co., Ltd. to study and study. Relevant persons in charge of Changsha Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute and Changsha AVIC Information Technology Co., Ltd. participated in the investigation.

In the hall of Bosch Company, President Xu and his party listened to the introduction of the company by the person in charge of the enterprise. As a major production base of Bosch in central China, Bosch (Changsha) mainly develops, produces and sells all kinds of auto parts for Bosch's automotive and intelligent transportation technology business, including ABS and ESP related parts for automotive safety systems. In the workshop, President Xu and his entourage visited its intelligent manufacturing production line to gain insight into Bosch's intelligent manufacturing business in China. Bosch Changsha is one of Bosch's more than 100 industrial 4.0 pilot projects worldwide. Through the application of connected solutions, the factory's auto parts production speed and efficiency have been greatly improved. For example, in logistics and inventory management, RFID radio frequency identification chips are used to monitor the progress of workpieces by identifying the location of transport boxes. These chips are capable of providing precise details and the time required for each workpiece run step. This information can then be the basis for making time schedules for packaging, shipping and installation.

President Xu expressed his appreciation for Bosch's achievements in the field of intelligent manufacturing. President Xu said that in the field of industrial 4.0, Bosch is not only a leading practitioner, but also an excellent supplier. Intelligent manufacturing is becoming a new direction and trend for the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry. Hunan machine tool industry has a good industrial foundation and talent advantages for the development of intelligent manufacturing. President Xu hopes that Hunan Machine Tool Association can strengthen communication with Bosch, absorb and learn from each other, and accelerate the intelligent manufacturing process of Hunan machine tool industry enterprises.
