Double-sided grinding of titanium alloy phone frame

Double-sided grinding and thinning of the titanium alloy phone frame is a core precision process in manufacturing. The goal is to precisely machine the frame thickness to the design value (usually in the range of 0.3mm-1.0mm), while ensuring high planarity, low surface roughness, no burns, and stable material properties.

Equipment: High-precision double-end face grinding machine, with two grinding wheels rotating coaxially at high speed, and the workpiece passing between the wheels via a fixture (feed plate).

Advantages:
High efficiency: Double-sided processing is completed in one pass.
High parallelism: Synchronous grinding of the upper and lower grinding wheels ensures excellent parallelism of both sides (achievable to ±0.002mm).
Deformation control: The forces on both sides partially offset the grinding torque, reducing warping.

 

Polishing and buffing of titanium alloy phone frame

Titanium alloy frames have extremely high polishing requirements. The surface must be not only flawlessly smooth but also highly durable, able to withstand the friction and impacts of daily use. To meet this standard, our company uses a five-axis CNC polishing machine for grinding and polishing.

Features: Using five-axis linkage technology, it can achieve multi-angle, multi-station single clamping, and can polish and grind various shapes such as planes, arcs, and 3D surfaces. Equipped with an exhaust dust removal system and an automatic waxing system, it can perform dry polishing, wet polishing, and grinding, and has polishing wheel compensation function and dynamic pressure adjustment function, ensuring polishing precision and quality.
Advantages: Compared with traditional polishing methods, five-axis polishing equipment can improve production efficiency, reduce labor costs, and ensure the consistency and stability of polishing quality, especially suitable for polishing complex-shaped titanium alloy phone frames.
